A loan of $1,000 helps to purchase two heifers.

Brayan Alexander's story

Brayan is a young man of humble origins. At the age of 24, he is the father of two children, 2 years old and a 6-month-old baby. Brayan lives in a borrowed house with his younger sibling.

As they do not have enough education, they earn a living working the land, either as day laborers planting or harvesting, or raising beef cattle. In this way, they manage to survive.

Now, more than ever, he needs to increase his income since he has two mouths to feed. So, Brayan asks for help from Kiva which will allow him to purchase a pair of heifers with which he wants to breed cattle and produce milk. In this way, he will be able to generate a little more income so to be able to fulfill his obligations as a father.
