A loan helped to pay for farm inputs and to hire laborers to grow more crops on the farm so she can make more profits to use to set a good foundation for her family.

Faith's story

As the world gears up to celebrate International Women’s day next month, Faith is very happy that she will be celebrated. Pictured above she is a dedicated and hardworking smallholder farmer.

Faith hails from a remote village in the Eldoret area of Kenya. She is involved in dairy and crop farming, and she has a side sale business. Her work brings home important income. She gets help with the work from her family members.

It takes a lot for a smallholder farmer to risk limited available resources to expand the farm business. Faith is seeking a 150,000 KES loan, which she will use to pay for farm inputs and to hire laborers to grow more crops on the farm.

With your help, Faith will be able to pay the high cost of farm inputs necessary for expansion. A significant portion of the profits will be invested back into the business to fuel growth, as she wants to set a good example and foundation for her family.

She really hopes for your help and contribution, and she thanks you in advance.

This loan is special because:

It finances smallholder farmers to purchase dairy cows, chickens, cereals, farm inputs and farming equipment.
