A loan helped a member to buy rams and peanuts.

04_Cisse Group's story

This group was created in February 2014, bringing together dynamic and solidary women with small businesses, who are mostly in sales and livestock fattening.

Cisse, who can be seen standing on the right side of the picture with her hand raised, is 41 years old, married and the mother of 6 children, of whom 3 are girls. She is the group leader. She practices animal fattening and knows the business well. At the same time, she also sells cereals.

She plans to buy rams that she will fatten and resell in about 5 to 6 months. With the rest of the loan, she will buy peanuts that she will convert into oil and resell. The peanut leftovers will be made into oil cakes and sold after the oil has been extracted. With the profits, she plans to help her husband with the daily expenses as well as buy food for her children.

In this group: Cisse , Astou , Soda, Ndeye, Khoureidia, Penda, Mame Sally, Dior, Awa
