A loan helped a member to buy some goats.

04_Kadam Group's story

This group has been created in November, 2009, assembling some dynamic, very supportive female micro-entrepreneurs who work mainly in the business of animal fattening.

Dib, standing at the right of the photo with a raised hand, is 33 years old, married and the mother of 4 children of whom one is a girl. She is the representative of the group. She works in animal raising and has a lot of experience in the sector. She buys goats in the surrounding markets and resells them in the daily market of her area.

She plans to buy some goats that she is going to fatten and then resell at the end of some months. With the remainder of the loan she is going to buy feed to raise the goats.

With the profits that she is going to realize, she plans to meet their needs but also to add to her savings in the banc villageois.

In this group: Diouma, Adama, Sokhna, Daba, Daba, Mame Saye, Mbene, Ndeye, Awa, Dib, Amy, Dib, Khady, Ngone
