A loan of $725 helped to buy a calf.

Norlan Antonio's story

Norlan Antonio, 28, is married to Maritza Borge and they have two children; the oldest, 7, is in elementary school and the youngest is 3 years old.

Thanks to the experience gained working with his father, he’s now cattleman in Santo Domingo, Chontales. He has a small herd of cattle but he’s working towards increasing its size. This is the reason behind his 3rd loan request: to buy calves to raise for future sale at a good price that will help him improve his family’s living conditions.

Norlan’s greatest wish is to have resources sufficient to provide an education for his children so that they will become upstanding citizens and to leave them a good equity so that they will maintain a better standard of living.
