A loan helped a member to expand her brick selling business.

Alegres Y Divinas Group's story

Mirian had a quiet life with her family. Her husband was the one who worked until an accident occurred and her husband got ill. They spent all their savings on medications and Mirian had to go to work and leave her children in the care of her sister. But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't cover the expenses she accummulated.

But a light of hope appeared when her friend offered to sell bricks. However, she lacked capital and she did not know where to get the money. One day walking down the street a lady approached her and invited her to belong to a group of women. She immediately accepted and so she started selling bricks but still with a small capital.

To date she still cannot cover family expenses so she requires more capital to help her husband and support her family.
