A loan helped a member to buy animals for re-sale to support his family.

Fasso Kanu Group's story

In the photo Kousseni is the one holding the ram’s horn in his hand. He is 27 years old, married with a child of 2 years. He has been in the sheep raising business for 6 years.

He wishes to grow this activity by contracting a loan with RMCR to buy more rams to sell. He buys his supplies in the surrounding markets and sells them in the same markets. After the sales, he can have a profit of 35000 to 50000 CFA. This profit allows him to improve the dwelling for his children and give these youngsters the chance of an education. He comes up against the challenge of an epidemic in the animals but manages to overcome this.

In the future, he hopes to have more financing to grow his activity and have a lot of profits to take care of his children’s future.
