A loan of $1,000 helped buy food for her dairy cows.

Hilda Irma's story

Hilda Irma R. D. S. is 40 years old. She just went to school at the primary level. She has three children. Hilda lives alone because her husband traveled to Argentina over ten years ago looking for better opportunities. After a few months he stopped calling them and stopped sending money. Hilda Irma lives in the area of the Ictocta province near the Cochabamba department.

Hilda Irma devotes herself to the production of raw milk. She delivers all of her milk production to a cooperative in the area. It is later collected by PIL ANDINA, a dairy factory.

Their living conditions are modest. They have a house with small rooms maD. of adobe. She raises her livestock on the same property. Hilda Irma is a woman who is very dedicated to her work. She and her children get up very early everyday to milk the cows. They take care of the cows all day. Dairy cows require plenty of attention.

Hilda Irma is requesting the loan to be able to buy food. During the winter season it is pretty scarce. That way she will have an assured production during this season and maintain her income.

Hilda Irma’s goal is for all of her children to at least finish high school. Hilda Irma wants her children to study for a technical career so that they can work with a lot of enthusiasm.
