A loan helped to buy manure, fertilizers and shovels.

David Antonio's story

David is a 34 year old man, single and father to three children who inspire him to get ahead with his tobacco crop business. He has more than five years working in this business and a degree in agrarian sciences.

His father in law, brother in law and wife are who support him with each tobacco harvest so that they have better earnings. With the hope of getting ahead with his tobacco production, he requested a loan from Micrédito, with Kiva’s support, in order to buy manure, fertilizers and shovels. In the not too distant future he hopes to have more areas planted for his business and more earnings with each harvest.

Translated from Spanish by Kiva volunteer Hasmin Sherwin.
