This group was established in 2013. It is comprised of 8 women. They all live in the same area and share good social bonds. The women have as their main activity the sale and processing of fish products.

Madame Awa, on the right of the photo with a raised hand, is the person responsible for the group. She is 45 years old and married and the mother of 6 children of whom 2 are boys. She works in the sale and production of fish products.

She buys her supplies from the fish wholesalers in the fish, shrimp and spiny lobster area. She then resells the dried fish and the shellfish in the markets around the area.

With her loan she is planing to buy some fish, shrimp and spiny lobster. The profits generated will allow her to help her husband with the expenses of the children and invest in her business.
