A loan helped to buy fertiliser to increase her yield of beans.

Gulzhakan's story

Gulzhakan successfully paid back her loan and she is grateful to Kiva and to everyone who supported her financially. On her farm, she now has two cows and a one-hectare plot of land where she grows beans to sell and potatoes for herself.

In order to further develop her business, Gulzhakan has approached Bai Tushum Bank once more, for a loan of 120,000 som. She will use the money to buy fertiliser in order to increase her yield of beans. She plans to invest the profit from the loan in further expanding her farm by building a barn and buying hay.
