A loan helped equip a community motorcycle workspace for safety while expanding the size.

James's story

At an early age I was drawn to anything with an engine. I grew up with Atv's, mini bikes, dirt bikes, and snowmobiles. At the age of 16 when I started to learn to drive, my passion expanded to cars. After graduating high school I moved from Utica, NY, to Rochester, NY to attend college for automotive repair. For close to 10 years I worked in the automotive industry, repairing and/or selling parts. In 2014, while working with Keith Johnson, I purchased my first motorcycle, a 1973 Honda CB200. As a fellow vintage car and motorcycle enthusiast, I was able to bounce ideas off of him to repair and restore the vintage motorcycle. Taking my first ride on it got me hooked, and wanting to learn more about motorcycles.
