A loan helped to purchase more inventory for his shop.

Twizere's story

Twizere is a dedicated entrepreneur who runs a small grocery store in one of the refugee camps in Rwanda. Twizere is a refugee living in Rwanda due to political instabilities back home. He is a loving husband and a father of nine children. He has thought of ways to support his family because the UNHCR stipend was not enough to satisfy their needs. Twizere's business started off small but with passion, quality products, and AEC/Inkomoko training, he was able to gain skills and secure loyal clients.

The past loan helped him purchase inventory in bulk to satisfy the demand. However, his clients keep increasing as the camp switched to cash-based transfer. He is requesting another loan to purchase more inventory that will last for a month. Twizere finds joy in running his business which goes beyond the money. He is always learning different ways to make his business better.

This loan is special because:

It helps refugees launch businesses to rebuild their lives.
