A loan helped a member to buy fodder for her sheep.

09-Gpf Femmes Des Marche 1 Group's story

This group was created in 2019 out of the good social cohesion of its members. Living in the same village, they formed a group to be able to have access to banking. Their main work involves livestock.

Ms. Fatimata Mbaye is the group's representative and appears at the right in the photo with a hand raised. She is 40 and the mother of six children, including two daughters. She raises livestock and has purchased some sheep to fatten.

With this loan, she will buy fodder for the sheep, thus to continue her work. With the profits, she envisions buying a steer to fatten for six months before selling it.

In this group: Fatimata Mbaye, Fatimata, Binta, Marieme, Mariama, Aminata, Aminata, Kadiata, Dado
