A loan of $1,200 helped purchase forage for milking cows.

Romulada Rosmery's story

Mrs. Rosmery is 45 years old. Unfortunately she became a widow when she was only 30 years old with three young children. She had to be strong and work hard to bring up her children properly. Her husband died in a work accident and since then she has been living alone with her three sons (21, 19, 16). The oldest has finished professional studies as a public accountant, one has started studying odontology and the youngest is in school. Therefore Mrs. Rosmery has to work hard until her two sons finish their studies.

The family lives in the town of Cochabamba in the neighborhood of Maica Central. For a living she produces fresh milk for a dairy product factory. At the moment she has 10 milking cows.

The loan will be spent on buying forage, which is important for the good diet for the cattle to continue with the production of the same quantity of milk.

The most important of her goals is that her 2 sons finish their professional studies and increase the milk production in order to save money for her old age.
