A loan of $1,200 helped buy another milk cow.

Gregoria's story

Gregoria is 47 years old, married to a man named Felix, and has three children ages 4, 7, and 12. They are an economically disadvantaged family and currently dealing with health issues, since doctors found cysts in Gregoria's uterus. Both she and her husband are very worried about the situation their family is in.

Gregoria and her family live in the city of Cochabamba in the neighborhood of Chaupi Suyo. They live in a small, humble home and their principal business is producing raw milk, which they sell to a company that makes a variety of different dairy products. Right now they have only 3 milk cows and her husband works as a brick layer Monday through Saturday, so she has to keep working in spite of the face she is very sick because the income her husband brings home is not enough to cover the monthly expenses and her medical treatment.

The loan would be used to buy another milk cow and in this way increase their production of milk and earnings.

Among her goals and dreams is to recover quickly from her illness and continue working so that her children can have a better life.
