A loan helped to purchase shoes, flip flops, sunglasses and clothing.

Genesis Marisol's story

On April 16, 2016, an earthquake hit Portoviejo, a city with a rich production of vegetables, legumes and tropical fruits for internal consumption.

Genesis Marisol is 24 years-old, she is single and has no children. She lives at home with her parents. Genesis sells various clothing that her family sends from the United States, which she sells with her mother from their home, as well as through an online site. When she sells to her clients, she gives them credit and collects the money every week.

Genesis works every day, and with this new loan she hopes to purchase shoes, flip flops, sunglasses and more clothing. Her dream is to one day own a boutique.
