A loan helped to buy stock of provisions to sell.

Victoria's story

Victoria lives with her husband and six children in Hohoe in the Volta Region of Ghana. She is 46 years of age.

Victoria opened up her small store that she has run for the past 30 years. Inside she has shelves of foodstuffs and general provisions, but her stocks have run low, and she needs a loan to replenish them.

This is Victoria’s first loan with Advans. With this loan she wants to buy more foodstuffs and bring in different varieties to meet the growing needs of her clients.

She is grateful to all generous Kiva lenders for supporting her.

This loan is special because:

It creates opportunity for rural businesses to access capital for growth
