A loan helped a member to purchase wholesale canned goods.

Flor De Papa Group's story

The "Flor de Papa” communal bank, as a part of Agencia Copacabana, is made up of eight members. They are area friends and neighbors. The communal bank is overseen by a board of directors, of which señora Elizabeth is the president.

Elizabeth is 42-years old and has six children. She currently has a business, a neighborhood shop. She learned the business a number of years ago.

The loan Elizabeth is taking out is to increase her working capital, wholesale canned goods which she will acquire from the wholesale vendors in La Paz. She will later sell the goods from her sales post. This type of work allows her to generate income to help her family financially.

Elizabeth's aspiration is to expand her business. She asks that you continue trusting in her communal bank.
