A loan of $6,525 helps a member to buy fabric, wool, and thread wholesale.

Mas Solidarias Group's story

The Más Solidarias communal bank, part of the Alto Lima branch, is made up of eight members, friends and neighbors in their area, and run by a board of directors of which María is the president.

María's married and has three children. Currently she has a business making and selling clothing: sweaters for children. She learned this business several years ago.

The loan she's getting now will be to increase her capital with a purchase of fabric, wool, and thread, which she'll get from the wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz, then make and sell in her sales stall. This job enables her to earn money to support her family.

Her goal is for her children to be professionals.

María's asking for your ongoing confidence in her communal bank.
