A loan helped a member to buy merchandise.

Chojñacollo Group's story

Martha, 24 years old, has three children. (She is pictured third in the photograph.) Martha has a business selling clothing. She works by ambulating from 6:00 am. to 5:00 p.m. With this she provides for her family. Martha started her business a year ago after working for a person in the same activity and learning the business. Martha's vision is to one day be able to have a clothing store and not have to ambulate any more. Likewise, she hopes to fund her children's (who are still young) education. Martha would like in the future to pay for them to go to college and become professionals. She will invest this money from the loan to buy merchandise to expand the products she offers and achieve higher profits and a better quality of life.
