A loan helped a member to buy different types of fabrics to resell.

01_Randoulene Sud Group's story

This Banc Villageois was founded in May 2009 and consists of 5 brave women who all live in the same area. They are very close both personally and professionally, and all of them are engaged in business. They are used to credit and have already repaid more than 10 loans on time.

Ms. Madjiguène, 53, is the group's representative. She is the one standing to the right of the photo with the raised hand. She is married and a mother of a boy who has gone to school.

Ms. Madjiguène runs a business selling fabric that she buys wholesale from the big shops and resells retail in the different areas of the town where she has customers. She has more than 8 years of experience in this field.

With this loan, she wants to buy high-quality pagne cloth and brocade fabrics that she intends to resell with a profit margin. Ms. Madjiguène easily sells her products.

The profits will enable her to build up her savings and develop her business activities.

In this group: Madjiguène, Marguerite, Sokhna Faye, Aminata, Lobé
