María Anita's story

Maria Anita is 36 years old. She lives with her husband and her two children in Calera Santa Rosa, a rural community in the Olmos district, in the Lambayeque province, two hours away from the city of Chiclayo.

For more than five years, Maria Anita has been growing sheep and goats and selling them to the merchants that visit the area where she lives. She does everything she can to sustain this business since it is a very important source of income for supporting her family.

Maria Anita would like to expand her business by purchasing more animals; she also wants to buy appropriate feed that would provide a balanced diet for her livestock. For this reason, she approached Edpyme Alternativa to request her first loan in the amount of 1000 soles. This loan will help her to achieve her goals.

Maria Anita is a woman who is very devoted to her family and her work. Her most earnest wish is to continue to grow as an entrepreneur so that she could provide a better quality of life for her family. In the photo, she is pictured with her younger son.
