A loan helped a member to pay for his children's school fees and to maintain his coffee trees.

Groupement Buyumbu's story

Zaïrois has more than 30 years experience in farming coffee. His parents taught him the trade when he was a child. It is work that he likes a lot and that which pays for his own children's schooling.

He lacks some of the tools he needs [though] (pruning shears, saws, etc.).

The current loan will be used to cover his children's schooling and also to maintain his coffee trees.

Zaïrois is the man wearing the long-sleeved shirt with sky sleeves and red pants, and holding the coffee seedling in his hand [in the photo].
