Rosa Jakeline's story

Rosa, 19, is a single mother; she has an 18-month-old son. She lives with her parents in the city of Chepén, capital of Chepén province, La Libertad region, located an hour away from the city of Chiclayo, Lambayeque region capital. In order to support her family, she opened a general store in her dwelling; she tries to offer quality items and kind customer service. During the time she’s been in business, business has grown and she is well-received in her neighborhood, above all because she makes accessible to her customers everything they need on a daily basis thereby ridding them of the need to travel to the city to market. She wants to expand her business to better meet customer demand so she is asking Edpyme Alternativa, for the first time, for funding. She is asking for 1000 new soles to buy stock merchandise for her store. Rosa is quite well-known and well-liked where she lives; her neighbors and acquaintances consider her to be responsible and dedicated to her family.
