A loan helped to buy bricks to complete construction of her house.

Maksatkan's story

Maksatkan is 66 years old and widowed, with 5 children. She has secondary education. She is familiar with the technology involved in leading an agricultural business, and is able to invest funds as intended. As the primary source of income for her family, she has been practicing animal husbandry for 25 years. In the summer, she herds her cattle into the pasture, and in the winter they are kept in the cattle shed. The cattle produce organic milk. Thanks to Maksatkan's hard work, her farm currently has a cow, a horse and 40 sheep, as well as 1.75 hectares of irrigated land on which she cultivates barley. With the goal of improving her living conditions, Maksatkan has turned to Bai Tushum bank for a loan in the amount of 250,000 somoni (KGS). This will be used to purchase bricks to construct her home. Maksatkan plans to complete construction of her home.
