A loan helped to buy more second-hand clothing for her clothing business.

Teresa's story

Teresa is 30 years old and married. She is an enterprising young woman with lots of knowledge and experience selling second-hand clothing (the bags by her side are full of second-hand clothing).

Since she first started doing the business, she has been doing it at a local market. It is considered to be a very good place to do this type of business, since lots of people always come around to the market looking for second-hand clothing to buy.

Running her business has made Teresa independent because she can be responsible for herself and also help support her family's everyday income.

She would like a loan of $500 USD through KIF to help improve her used clothing business. She plans to use this loan to buy more second-hand clothing for her clothing business.

Teresa hopes to run a bigger business in the future and wants to thank to all the lenders for the opportunity

This loan is special because:

It provides entrepreneurs in underserved communities with the means to grow their businesses.
