A loan of $575 helped purchase of school supplies and silk screening materials.

Maria Leonor's story

Sra. Leonor is married. She and her husband, Sr. Justiniano, teach plastic arts. They have two young children who are high school students.

Leonor and her family live in the Villa Salome zone, located 30 minutes from the center of the city. Leonor has a variety store/bookshop opposite the Topater de Pampahasi High School. In addition to being a teacher, Sr. Justiniano creates silk screen prints.

Leonor is very responsible in both her work and her family as shown by the fact that she has two jobs. Thanks to the influence of their parents, her children are beginning to make works of silk screen.

Leonor and Justiniano want to provide a good education to their children so that they can succeed in becoming professionals. The loan that they are applying for is for purchasing inventory for the shop and silk screening materials. They are very thankful to Emprender and Kiva for the confidence shown them in granting the loan.
