A loan helped toward construction of additional classrooms and also purchase furniture.

Sadia's story

Sadia is a 21-year-old woman who established a low cost private school in a marginalized community with the help of her family. The aim of the school is to create high standard learning experiences that will help students prepare for a better future.

At present, she is planning to construct additional classrooms on vacant space available in the school. However, Sadia lacks the funds needed for the construction. She has therefore requested a loan of PKR 150,000 to construct the additional classrooms and also purchase furniture.

This loan is special because:

It helps low-income schools provide quality education in Pakistan's urban slums.
