May Flor's Group's story

May Flor C. is from the village of Camanga, Tukuran, Zamboanga del Sur. She is 26 years old and is the group leader of a two-member group loan offered by PMPC. While each member of the group receives an individual loan, they are both collectively responsible for paying back the loan of their fellow group member if they are delinquent or default.

May Flor is married and has one infant child. She owns and operates a specialized retail store, selling clothing and shoe products in the local community. She has been engaged in her business for over two years and earns approximately 11,000 PHP a month.

May Flor joined PMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and her ability to engage in business activities. She is requesting a loan of 7,000 PHP which will be used to purchase additional inventory and used as working capital. This loan will be her first from PMPC.

May Flor plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve and expand her business.
