A loan helped increase working capital to meet the demand of customers.

Fungo's story

Fungo is a husband, father, and entrepreneur. He runs a clothes shop in Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya. He is originally from Congo but he left due to constant violence and political instabilities. The clothes shop was started a year after he joined the camp. As a father of five children, he had to think of something that would help him earn extra cash to support the family. The clothes shop has been doing well; he has gained income to pay for home bills as well as provide school supplies for the children. Fungo is requesting a loan to increase his stock as well as introduce new clothing to attract more customers. Fungo is eager to learn how to grow his business and he was an active participant in the AEC Kenya training.
