Ulpat's story

Ulpat is a 64-year-old widow who has six children. She has high school education. She knows the techniques of running a farming business and is able to use resources appropriately.

As a main source of income for her family, Ulpat has been engaged in animal husbandry for many years. In summer, she sends her cattle to the pastures. In winter, she feeds them in her back-yard. She makes a living selling organic milk. Thanks to Ulpat's tireless work, currently her farm has nine cows.

Aiming to improve her living conditions, Ulpat has applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 100,000 som (KGS) to repair her house. She plans to use the funds to finish the house renovations.
