A loan helped to buy 30 bottles of ORYX gas, 15 boxes of tire bulbs and 50 key locks to save to improve living conditions for his family.

Adama's story

Adama is the father of 2 children, 3 and 7 years old, 1 of whom is going to the school. There are five other people he cares for. He is a shopkeeper and has managed a hardware store in a market in the capital for 18 years.

He is on his eleventh loan cycle with IMF YIKRI. He repays loans and he has repaid his first KIVA loan without difficulty. He is asking for a new loan to buy 30 bottles of ORYX gas, 15 boxes of tires and 50 key locks with the goal of increasing his stock and resell to customers. He is planning to use the profits to reinvest in his work and to save to improve living conditions for his family.

Finally, he wants to thank and wish Happy New Year to YIKRI, KIVA, and to the lenders.
