A loan helped to continue his education in Industrial Electronics at Senati.

José Brayan Alexis's story

José was born in Cajamarca. His wishes to improve and to search for new opportunities make him travel to the capital to go to school. He is an only child, and he only lives with his mother. He is currently earning his degree in Industrial Electronics at Senati. He leaned towards this specialty because it meets his expectations, and because there is demand for this work. Another fact is that as a boy he was interested in learning about the insides of electronic devices. He says that a good education in life, "always opens doors".

Unfortunately, at this time he is experiencing a difficult financial situation. He does not receive financial support from his father. His mother's earnings as a seamstress are not enough. That is why José runs the risk of discontinuing his studies. At this time José needs Kiva's help through a loan that will allow him to have the peace of mind to complete his studies and to fulfill his big dream of working as an electronics equipment programmer in a mining or technology business.

This would allow him to be able to have financial stability and to give back to his mother all of the effort she puts forth in order for him to get ahead. "I am very grateful knowing that there are people ready to help so that our dreams come true. Thank God for putting them in my path and for making a difference. I will always be eternally grateful."
