A loan helped to purchase materials to fix up the retail space, purchase a sink, and more.

Jose Abelardo's story

Abelardo, 70 years old, lives in the municipality of Chigorodó, Colombia. He works at his business making arepas, an activity he learned on his own, dedicating all his time, effort and dedication to it.

Currently, he works daily focusing on his goals of expansion and generating jobs. His greatest desire is to be able to become a micro-businessman and work full time at his business but, for this, he needs to increase his production capacity, generate more income, and be able to be self-sustaining.

In search of realizing his dream, Abelardo is asking for a loan which he will invest in the purchase of materials to fix up the retail space, purchase a sink, and more. He hopes that, with this investment, he will be able to improve his production capacity and sales.
