Clara Elena's story

Clara Elena is a 33-year-old married micro-entrepreneur with 3 children, living in the municipality of Soledad. She set up a pizzeria, a business idea that came up from the need to generate an income from home and spend quality time with her children, since she spent very little time with them while at work.

Clara Elena told her spouse the idea of opening a business and conducting a market analysis in the surrounding area where she lives. They realised that it lacked a pizzeria and that is when she decided to start her project.

The business has been running for a year. They work from 4 pm to 2 am every day. Clara Elena's goal is to expand her business, provide a better space for her clients and increase her sales.

She is currently processing her first Kiva loan through the Mario Santo Domingo Foundation to buy ingredients such as chicken, meat, potatoes, sauces, bread, flour, sausages, pork, vegetables, etc. Please support her.
