A loan of $225 helped buying sacks of yams.

Antoinette's story

D. Antoinette was born in 1965 in Lokossa in Benin.  Married to TOSSAVI Romain, she is the mother of four children, who all attended school.  The family has been living for twelves years in Agla, in Cotonou, the economic capital of Benin. Antoinette helps out her husband and, along with him, makes sure that the various family expenses are covered.

Antoinette never attended school.  For nearly fifteen years, she has been making and selling food (cooked yams) door to door.  She purchases her supplies in Comé and in Lokossa, in Benin.

She has already benefited from two ALIDé loans, which have all been repaid.  With the aim of bolstering her business and growing her customer base, Antoinette is requesting a third loan from ALIDé.
