This group was created in 2015 and includes ten women from the same village. They have good relationships. The goal of the group is to allow its members to develop their business activities and to have access to banks. Their main activity is sheep fattening.

Madame Aïssata – standing on the left of the photo with her hand raised – is the group’s representative. She is 43 years old, married, and has two boys and three girls. Her business is to fatten sheep. She intends to buy ten sheep, fatten them, and resell them after six months. The client is planning on using her profits to grow her livestock and to develop her small retail of miscellaneous items.
