Félicité's story

Félicité A. was born on 19 February 1975 in Comé in Bénin. She is married to Louis Charles TOMEDE and is mother to three children, who are all at school. Félicité lives together with her children and her husband in the Xwlacodji district of Cotonou, the economic capital of Bénin. She has lived in this area for almost 26 years. The couple shares responsibility for the various family expenses. In order to provide for her needs, Félicité has a business selling peanut oil and a variety of other products (rice, cornflour, etc.) from home. She has 16 years of experience in this business and is a regular client of ALIDé. She has already had six loans from ALIDé, all of which have been repaid in full. Félicité would like to expand her business a little in order to meet ever increasing customer demand. It is for this reason that she is requesting another loan from ALIDé.
