A loan of $725 helped to buy supplies.

Elizabeth's story

Elizabeth buys wholesale products such as seeds, grains, bird feed, yuca and potato flour. Her work begins by dividing the products into portions using scales and making small packets of bird food: 250 and 500 grammes of mixed seeds, grains or bird feed. Then she sells them from her stall. She also weighs out the same size packs of yuca and potatoes. These products are delivered to order every fortnight to the town's supermarkets. These same supermarkets are also asking her to make up packets of organic quinoa, amaranth, barley and other things for the coming months. This is why the lady is asking for this loan as she needs money to buy these things. She needs corn and barley flour and broad beans. Thes products form the basis of the daily diet in many homes throughout the country. Mrs. Elizabeth is very grateful to Emprender and Kiva for trusting her by giving her a loan.
