A loan helped a member to buy clothes.

Bendicion De Dios Pavona Group's story

Danelia is a young merchant. She's a single mother and has one child. She makes a living from selling clothing on the streets of surrounding communities. She started her business venture with help from an organization that provides financing to women with limited resources so they can start businesses and progress. In her free time, she helps her parents at home and helps her father in a small orchard he owns.

Daniela has many dreams and aspirations in life. In the future she hopes to be able to own a bookstore and a pharmacy; both are businesses that don't exist in nearby communities. This would be an opportunity for economic growth.

She is requesting her second Kiva loan through Fundenuse to buy merchandise. She used the previous loan to invest in business capital to stock her business. Her sales increased because offering a wider variety of products also increased demand from her customers. She is a member of “Bendición de Dios Pavona” solidarity group along with Geraldina y Samuel.
