A loan helped to pay for meats, oil, flour, and pasta for her eatery.

Herimalala's story

Herimalala, aged 23, is separated and has two children. She rents an apartment located in a neighborhood not far from downtown. A young and dedicated woman, she is raising her children all by herself. She is very concerned about her family’s well-being. She has had a stall serving food for a few months now. It is her main source of income. She sells at the big market in town.

She is a partner of Vahatra. The proceeds from the previous loan enable her to purchase a pig. Her wish is for her business to be more productive. Also, she is going to build up more in savings and needs the help of lenders to purchase some meat, oil, flour, and pasta for boosting her eatery. Her hope is to have a house of her own in the future.
