A loan helped to buy 1,5 bales of rolls of thread to weave, 10 packets of sequins and dye, and save for the success of her children.

Alizeta's story

Alizeta is aged 26 and the mother of 2 children 1 of whom goes to school, and she has one dependent. She is a weaver and has been weaving traditional pagnes (lengths of brightly colored traditional cloth) of high quality in a neighborhood on the outskirts of the capital city for 6 years.

She is on her sixth loan cycle with Yikri and has repaid her first Kiva loan with no problems. She is requesting a further loan to buy 1,5 bales of rolls of thread to weave. 10 packets of sequins and dye so that she can weave many traditional pagnes to satisfy her customers’ needs.

She plans to use the profits to reinvest in her activity and save for her children to succeed.
