Agbidi Séraphine's story

Agbidi Séraphine H. was born 27 November 1975 in Allada, in the Department of the Atlantic. She is married and the mother of four children, all in school. For the past five years Séraphine has been living with her family in the Dogoudo borough of Allada. The couple care for two other children, and Séraphine helps her husband in handling the family’s various expenses.

Séraphine has never been to school. For about 15 years, she has sold cornmeal mush accompanied by wheat fritters in Allada, where she also gets her supplies.

She has already been granted three loans from ALIDé, all of which have been repaid in full. Now Séraphine wishes to strengthen somewhat more her business and increase customer satisfaction. This is why she is requesting a fourth loan from ALIDé.
