A loan helped to buy seeds, fertilizers and chemicals to expand his potato cultivation project.

Mustafa's story

Mustafa is married and has three children. He has a potato cultivation project, besides his feed-sales business, that he started to provide a stable income for his family.

Mustafa is very clever and very hardworking, and he has a strong will to succeed. He previously requested four loans, and was a very committed person in repaying all of them. His business became very successful.

He is requesting this time a bigger loan amount of 40,000 EGP to buy seeds, fertilizers and chemicals to expand his project and then sell potatoes to increase his income.

Mustafa says that he will contract with companies to sell the crop potato for them, and also to hotels and to make chips and other food from potatoes. He has young workers to help them earn their own pocket money, and he is paying off their salaries. He doesn't like being lazy, so he is working hard to make his business a stable source of money for his family, especially as it's the only source of money for household expenses.

He also says that when he decided to expand his business, he couldn't find better than Kiva lenders to help him as they did in the past. He has a lot of respect for them, and he thanks them every time he has asked for a loan.
