A loan helped to buy a solar freezing system to improve his income at his grocery store.

Alexis's story

Alexis is 43 years old. He lives in a community in Atlantida, Honduras and has been a dairy farmer for 14 years. He lives with his wife who runs the grocery store, and two children with one of them still studying. One of Alexis' dreams is to see his son finish his studies and become a good professional.

He has worked hard since he was very young to form a estate so that his family does not lack anything and can have a good standard of living. Although there are some limitations since in the community where they live they do not have access to electricity. Thus, many of their activities are especially difficult at the grocery store that they manage, since they cannot offer their customers products that need refrigeration (sausages, dairy products, soft drinks), or have to spend on ice for its preservation.

For these reasons he decided to request financing from Soluz Honduras to buy an efficient solar freezer. This will allow him to give his customers a better service by offering a wider variety of products and generating more income, improving his quality of life.
