Dl_Yacine Group's story

This group was created in 2009 by organized and energetic women who are active in business, employment, and agriculture.

Yacine is standing on the right side of the photo with her hand raised and is the representative of the group. She is 50 years old, a widow, and the mother of 3 children (1 of which is a girl).

She is active in farming, which is a business that she leads in collaboration with her son. She is responsible for buying seeds that she then provides to her son who is then responsible for their cultivation.

With a loan, she plans to buy onion, potato, and sweet potato seeds. The rest of the loan will help her to buy fertilizer and take care of labor.

She plans to save a portion of the profits she will make and will use another portion to take care of her household needs.

In this group: Yacine , Astou , Marie , Marie , Maimouna , Khady Fall, Ndiolle
