Lourdes Group's story

The Lourdes group is composed of three, hard-working, independent and tenacious people.

The group coordinator is Manuel Antonio S., who is a tailor. He stated that he began five years ago investing a small amount to set up his shop, which has grown thanks to the loans. He will use the present loan to buy fabric and raw materials like: thread, needles, buttons, zippers, etc. in order to fill his orders.

His fellow group members, María G. and Claudia C., have been chicken merchants for several years. They buy chickens at the farms and resell them in the market.
