Jocken's story

Jocken is 37 years old, married to Caroline, and has four children, all below the age of 18. He is running a posho mill where he grinds maize into flour.

He has been in the business for four years and now he earns an average income of KES. 40,000 per month. He has applied for the fifth loan from Vision Fund Kenya to enable him buy more bags of maize. With the profits anticipated, he plans to repay his loan on time and also pay school fees for his children.

In the future, he hopes to open another posho mill which will enable him to establish his business and thus double his monthly income.
