02_Tessito Gadamayo Group's story

This banc villageois was founded in January 1998 and is made up of 5 members who live in the same neighborhood and benefit from extensive knowledge of the system. The have remained very active, and their solidarity grows day by day. Their main business is petty trade.

Madame Fatou, standing on the far right in the photo with her hand raised, is the group's representative. She is 57 years old, married, and has 6 children. For a living, she sells fresh fish that she purchases at the Petite Côte.

With this new loan, she plans to buy several 40kg crates of fresh fish that she will resell wholesale and at retail. With the earnings, she plans to help care for her children and increase her savings.
